People love dogs!!!

Dogs are one of the most liked animals, there are so many different types and sizes. 

Some facts about dogs are that when a dog is first-born, they are unable to see or hear. Puppies open their eyes at about 2 weeks old. Dogs typically live for 10-13 years.

The dog is a domesticated descendant of the wolf and they evolved from a now-extinct species of wolf.  Dogs are smart.  They can learn over 100 words and gestures.

Here are some rules dog owners must follow in Durham County: pet owners are required to keep their animals under restraint when they’re away from their property.

The person responsible for any dog must remove feces deposited by the dog from any private property unless the owner of the property has given permission allowing such use of the property.

Dogs should have their rabies tag when they are out,
